Optical systems must be able to be positioned with absolute precision and optimally aligned to a remote point - and all this in a dynamic environment with high demands on shock resistance, acceleration values and climatic influences.
This is about timely and exact recognition of dangers. In order to achieve these requirements without loss of accuracy, direct drives are preferred.
This can be realized with complete torque motors as well as with kits. These guarantee a very high torque with a very compact design. Our torque motors are used in radar and optical detection systems, in aviation, shipping or also land-based.
Maximum compactness
In order to achieve maximum compactness, kits are often used. Here, CEDS DURADRIVE kits offer a very good constructive solution, as they are developed individually and in close cooperation with the customer.
Highest dynamics and low weight
Good dynamics requires an optimum balance between torque and low moment of inertia.
Not only a compact design but also a low weight are decisive for a coordinated system. CEDS DURADRIVE drives are developed weight-optimized according to requirements in order to be able to incorporate the lightest possible system into the mechanical constructions.
